How you get paid
The customer pays when they accept your quote, before you start. You'll see it on the job page, so you know the money's there before you buy materials or book the day.
When they sign the job off, the payment goes to your bank through Stripe, usually within 2 business days. You don't have to chase an invoice.
Who you're up against
Everyone quoting has a checked ABN and current insurance. Reviews only come from customers who've paid through us.
Signing up
It takes about 10 minutes. You'll need your ABN, your licence number if your trade needs one, and your public liability insurer and expiry date. We check you over, usually within a business day. Then connect your bank through Stripe and you can start quoting.
Questions
What if the customer won't sign off a finished job?
Email us with the job number. We'll talk to both of you, look at photos of the finished work, and release the payment if it was done as quoted.
What if the job turns out bigger than the quote?
Talk to the customer first. Extra work can go up as a separate job so it's paid and held the same way.
Is the 4% plus GST?
No. It's 4% (minimum $15) of the quote, all in, taken out before the payout.
Can I deal with the customer directly next time?
For 12 months after we introduce you, please keep jobs with that customer on the site. That's what lets us skip charging for leads.
