This explains what personal information Tradebench collects, why, and what we do with it. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles.

What we collect

• Everyone: name, email, mobile number and password (stored encrypted).
• Customers: job details, photos and the job address.
• Tradies: business name, ABN, trades, service areas, licence number and insurance details.
• Payments: handled by Stripe. We never see or store full card or bank account numbers.

Who sees what

• Job titles, descriptions, photos and the suburb or town are visible to anyone browsing jobs. The full job address is not.
• Your name, phone, email and street address are only shared with the other party once a quote is accepted.
• Tradies' business names, trades, areas, licence numbers and reviews appear on their public profile. ABN and insurance details are only seen by us.
• We share information with Stripe to process payments and payouts, and with our hosting provider to run the site. We don't sell your information.

How long we keep it

While your account is open, and afterwards for as long as we need to for tax, legal or dispute reasons.

Your choices

You can ask to see or correct your information, or to close your account, by emailing support@trade-bench.com. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, tell us first. You can also contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).
