How it works
For homeowners, landlords, hotels and mining companies across WA. Posting a job is free and you don't have to accept any quote.
1. Post your job
Tell us what needs doing, which suburb, and roughly when. Add photos if you can. A wide shot and a close-up help tradies quote properly instead of guessing.
2. Compare quotes
Tradies who cover your area send a fixed price, including GST, with a note on what's included. You can see how long they've been trading and what past customers said about them.
For bigger jobs a tradie may want to look in person first. They'll say so in their quote.
3. Accept and pay
When you accept a quote, you and the tradie get each other's contact details to sort out a time. Nobody else sees your number or address.
You pay by card at this point. Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Apple Pay and Google Pay all work.
4. Release the payment when it's done
We hold your money with Stripe until you confirm the job is finished. The tradie can see it's been paid, so they know it's there, but they don't get it until you release it.
If something isn't right, don't release it. Email support@trade-bench.com with your job number and we'll sort it out with both of you. Refunds go back to your card. Your rights under Australian Consumer Law still apply.
Who can quote
Before a tradie can quote, we check their ABN is active, their public liability insurance is current, and they're on the relevant WA licence register if their trade needs one. That covers electrical, plumbing, gas, and building work over $20,000.
Only customers who've paid for a job through us can leave a review, so reviews can't come from mates or family.
